Uncovering the Politics of Climate Change

The World Affairs Council of Sonoma County is hosting guest speaker David Callaway to speak in April at the Glaser Center in Santa Rosa.

How do we manage climate change and defeat global warming? Common wisdom might say, “international cooperation.” But what if the politics involved are just too daunting, and are in fact an impediment?

David Callaway, former editor-in-chief of USA Today, and founder/ editor of Callaway Climate Insights, will present “Uncovering the Politics of Climate Change.” He’ll make the case that technology alone can save us.
Along with heading up USA Today, David Callaway was a foreign correspondent for Bloomberg News; president of the Paris-based World Editor Forum, a group of international editors from 30 countries; editor of CBS MarketWatch in San Francisco; and CEO of TheStreet, Inc. in New York City. His digital newsletter, Callaway Climate Insights, chronicles the people and companies around the world who are behind key new renewable technologies.

The event is at 4PM on 13 April.  Glaser Center is located at 547 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. Registration at https://wacsc.org. The event is free.
