Our presenter, Woody Hastings, took us through some of the proposed California legislation that impacts Electric Vehicles and transportation.

In the August 2023 meeting we discuss National Drive Electric Week with Sonoma Clean Power, the Bolt’s return, and cost of charging versus gasoline. This meeting was shorter since we focused on peer-to-peer discussion at a picnic.
Post meeting, discussions were had of vehicle purchase experiences, early EV failures and rehabilitation, outreach to community, and EVSE charging speeds.
In the July 2023 meeting we discuss follow ups on recent California bills, more news of major automakers, charging providers switching to the North American Charging Standard (NACS) and sample experience of travel charging in California.
