GOALS

1. Return Don Price's EV to service in a timely and cost effective manner.
2. Preserve or refurbish original parts when possible.
3. Provide a safe car.
4. Provide a reliable car.
5. Provide a car with minimal maintenance requirements.
6. Provide an easy to maintain and service car.
7. Provide a nice looking, smooth running, adequately performing car, to project a positive image of EVs to the public.
8. Provide enough range and performance for around town driving.
9. Provide classroom material and a valuable learning experience for the Santa Rosa Junior College electric vehicle conversion program.
10. Use as an early prototype by the SRJC EV program to develop simple, safe, cost effective compact front wheel drive around town EV conversion, maintenance and service plans that can be efficiently replicated.
11. Sell the car in the following manner:
- Offer it at cost to JC students who worked on it.
- If there are no bids or more than one bid, then put it at auction with a minimum bid of the amount spent on parts.
The main goal of the sale is to reimburse Chris for fronting the money for the components. Any profit generated will be donated to the NBEAA/SRJC OSEV project for future refurbishment components, tools or supplies.
