UPDATE MARCH 10 2008: THE FOLLOWING BATTERIES WERE FOUND TO BE AT ONLY 70% CAPACITY,
AND EVEN WORSE, WERE NOT THE RIGHT TYPE OF BATTERY FOR EVS OR PVS!  SEE MARCH 10,
2008 NEWSLETTER FOR DETAILS.  DO NOT USE THESE TYPES OF BATTERIES FOR EVS -- THEY
WILL AND ARE NOT LASTING LONG! 

Used AGM deep cycle batteries in good condition for the  incredibly low 
price of $40 per module!  The non-profit organization Training For Safety 
are receiving donations for 3 year old C&D Technologies Dynasty Multi-Purpose 
Series MPS-12-75 and MPS-12-88 group 24 and 27 911 network UPS batteries 
that were kept at float in a controlled environment until a month or so ago with a 
10 year warranty (under those conditions to the initial purchaser), and more will 
be coming.  Located in Redwood City, Sacramento and Oroville.  Quantities at

for more details about the batteries.  One set of 6 group 27s has been purchased 
and tested in a Bombardier NV and appear to work as new given power and range 
testing, but more testing will be done to verify for sure.  Priority will go to paid up 
NBEAA members with individual battery module monitoring driving dashboard 
indicators and controlling the charger, and automatic battery balancing.  Contact
